Sustainable Fabrications

Sustainably sourced fabrications. Our garments are designed to feel like a second skin, offering both softness and durability to withstand the test of time. We take pride in using certified GOTS organic cotton, ensuring a high-quality standard that aligns with our commitment to sustainability. Additionally, we prioritize using deadstock fabrics whenever possible, rescuing them from landfills and giving them new life. Our dedication to sustainability extends to our use of upcycled fibers in our fabrications, further minimizing our environmental footprint.

GOTS-certified Organic cottons

GOTS, which stands for Global Organic Textile Standard, is recognized worldwide as the leading standard for organic textiles.

When you see the GOTS certification, you can trust that the cotton used in our products has been grown without the use of harmful pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. This not only promotes the health of the soil and surrounding ecosystems but also ensures the well-being of the farmers who cultivate the cotton.

Furthermore, GOTS certification guarantees that our organic cotton meets strict environmental and social criteria throughout the entire production process. From the cultivation of the cotton to the final manufacturing stages, every step is carefully monitored to minimize environmental impact and uphold ethical labor practices.

Linen

Linen is one of those timeless fabrics that's not only long-lasting but also recyclable and biodegradable. It's a sustainable choice that leaves no waste and requires less energy, water, and pesticides.

Cupro

Cupro is derived from cellulose and cotton linter, those ultrafine silky fibers that stick to the seeds of the cotton plant after it’s been ginned, which would otherwise go to waste. Similar to Tencel, Cupro uses a closed-loop production method, recycling 99% of non-toxic chemicals.

Our clothing isn't just made to last; it's crafted with quality and timeless, versatile designs that embody the essence of the slow fashion movement. Each piece is meticulously created to withstand the test of time, allowing them to be worn season after season without losing their charm. Produced in Turkey by a Danish manufacturer, our garments reflect a commitment to both sustainability and exceptional craftsmanship.

Deadstock

We incorporate 5-10% of deadstock fabrics into our collections, rescuing them from landfills where they would otherwise end up. By repurposing these fabrics, we significantly reduce the amount of textile waste generated each year.

Silk

Silk is hypoallergenic, biodegradable, and compostable. It's a circular and zero-waste fabric that requires fewer resources to grow compared to other materials. We only use "peace silk". This method of silk production allows the silkworms to emerge from their cocoons naturally, without being harmed or killed in the process. Unlike traditional silk production, where the cocoons are boiled to extract the silk fibers, Peace Silk allows the moth to complete its life cycle. This ethical and cruelty-free approach to silk production aligns with principles of non-violence and compassion towards all living beings.

Regenerated Fibers

We create garments using a textile which is made with ECONYL® yarn. This is a high quality regenerated material made from discarded fishing nets, carpets and other nylon waste.

Recycled Polyester

We're all about reducing waste, which is why we love recycled polyester. It's made from plastic PET bottles, helping to clean up our oceans and landfills. Plus, it uses less energy than normal polyester and can be recycled again and again without losing quality.

Upcycled Fabrications

We're committed to minimizing waste, which is why we upcycle our surplus fabrics and trims at the end of each season. By reusing fabric and avoiding the production of new materials, we're doing our part to reduce landfill and promote sustainability. You will find many of our left over fabric scraps has been transformed into accessories.

Upcycled Biketubes

In our collections, you'll discover unique touches like small appliqués made from upcycled bike tubes. To incorporate these materials, we've developed a custom upcycling process tailored to our needs.

Ecovero

The production process of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers is environmentally responsible, using at least 50% less water and emitting at least 50% less CO2 compared to generic viscose fibers, as confirmed by Higg MSI. This not only conserves vital resources but also reduces our carbon footprint for the sake of future generations. Continuously refined, the production processes of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers aim to optimize resource efficiency and minimize environmental impact.

We avoid mixed Fabrications

We aim for clean materials, which means 100% of the same material is used when possible in our collections. This ensures that our products can be recycled into new fabrics infinitely.
